Youth Groups
As a congregation, we look to nurture youth’s relationship with Christ through fellowship with their peers. Our youth groups offer fun, learning, and connection to Christ for children in 3rd – 12th grades.
Sunday School
From the young to the young at heart. From the just discovering to the well-versed. All are welcome to join a class in our Sunday School. Learn About Classes Here.
Kids In Church
We are all family in Christ. Children’s sermons, nursery care, “Children’s Church”, and children’s bulletins help provide a family atmosphere.
We will join God in fulfilling our mission and purpose by living out our vision.
Make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Our Vision is to make a difference by
Fostering faith,
Uplifting spirits,
Ministering to those in need and
Creating disciples of Jesus Christ
We enter the church’s doors to worship and we depart to serve.
A Congregation in the United Methodist Tradition
Methodism dates back to John and Charles Wesley who sought to spread the Methodist movement they began in 18th-century England. The United Methodist Church was created in 1968.
Open Hearts. Open Minds. Open Doors.
As People of the United Methodist Church we welcome all to enter into the presence of the Lord and invite them to come as they are. At First Church we invite you to start, nurture, and deepen your relationship with Christ through our Sunday worship and our other opportunities.

A Bit More About Sundays
Sunday School
Our Sunday School utilizes the “Deep Blue” Curriculum which combines Bible stories and prayer with the importance of service to others as we follow in Jesus’ footsteps.
Worship
Our worship is done in a traditional style featuring an imaginative and dynamic sermon and exhilarating music from classical to contemporary by our Chancel Choir (joined, on occasion, by a brass quartet, drums, hand chimes, or orchestra).
Fellowship
Our Fellowship Hour, immediately following worship, provides the perfect opportunity to strengthen the bonds of Christian love with other members and friends.
